G6 Communications was established in 2007 with the goal of providing enterprise class information technology solutions to small and medium sized businesses. Founded by two veterans of the United States Marine Corps with service delivery experience in Fortune 500 companies and expertise in the design, implementation and management of battle tested data communication systems. G6 Communications brings proactive, preventative and cost effective solutions to aid our partners in getting the most out of their IT resources and budget.
We often get the question "What does G6 stand for?" The G6 is the unit in the Marine Corps that is responsible for coordinating and supervising all communications and information systems management functions.
John Kotski is a communications industry veteran. His work has taken him from air conditioned network operating centers in Okinawa Japan to dirt fields in Australia, remote camps in the Republic of South Korea and to a war zone in Iraq. Having held senior network engineering positions with companies such as Northrop Grumman, Cubic Defense Applications and the Department of Defense, John is an expert of network communications. In addition to building dynamic communication networks all over the world, recently, John served as the lead security engineer securing critical information systems for the Multinational Division in Iraq. He is a Cisco and Microsoft certified engineer. John started his communications career while serving in the United States Marine Corps and has received numerous citations and awards for his exceptional performance in both military and civilian roles.
Blake King is an experienced Cisco and Microsoft certified network services engineer. Blake has covered a lot of ground in the twelve years he has spent in the industry. He has held positions from Director of Operations to Senior Network Engineer with companies such as Great American Broadband, HP Enterprise Services, Lockheed Martin, Cubic Defense Applications, and the Dept. of Defense. In his career he has led several large technology projects and deployments as well as managing millions of dollars in technology equipment worldwide. Blake began his career in the telecom and network operations industries while serving in the United States Marine Corps where he received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for exceptional service as a tactical network engineer.
